Hello Roy, when you received this wig, it has the basic style only, and you will need to use hair styling clay to style the spikes.  We won't style the spikes when packing it, because that will destroy the wig style at all during the international delivery process.

*If the style keeps perfect, then you don't need to style it again when you use; if the style begins to loose, and you will need to fix the style again.  It depends on the wig style itself.  :)

*For wigs, we don't recommend you wash it unless it is dirty; if you really need to wash it, please wash it in cold water with shampoo and wash gently. But remember do not brushes until it dry. When it is dry, then you can brush wigs into desired style.

Hi Roy,the wig has the basic style likes the picture shown,you also can use tools which under 200 degree centigrade to style it,but we don't recommend to change the style too much.
